PARHAMS — Funeral services for Edwin Lloyd “Boo” Holland, 64, of Monterey, who died Thursday, June 12, 2014, at The Columns Nursing Home, will be at 10 a.m. today at Parhams Baptist Church with the Rev. Toney Ganey and the Rev. Gary Norris officiating.

Burial will follow at Ford Cemetery in Monterey under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. Holland was a member of the National Guard and an avid farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Christine Holland and newphew, John L. Gibbs.

Survivors include his brothers, Gerald S. Holland and James Holland and wife, Sandra; sisters, Cheryl Ann Holland and Barbara S. Holland; newphews, Justin Holland and Waylon Holland; and nieces, Kristi Gibbs-Smith and husband, Cory, and Shannon Holland.

Pallbearers will be John “Buster“ Ford, Phillip Spinks, Wayne Holland, Pete Ford Jr., Scotty McLain and M.F. “Ned” Wilson.

Honarary pallbearers will be Lloyd Holland, Owen Holland, Gregg Wilson, Pete Ford, Charlie Adams, Billy Green and J.H. Spinks.
