NATCHEZ — A Natchez man was arrested in a two-day prostitution sting operation in Alexandria.

Alexandria Police Department Lt. Bruce Fairbanks said Shea Hudnall, 43, was one of 17 people arrested in the operation.

The operation was conducted by the Alexandria Police Department in conjunction with the Central Louisiana Safe Streets Task Force and FBI Task Force.

Fairbanks said the operation is part of an ongoing effort to combat vice and human trafficking in Central Louisiana.

Hudnall previously served as a Ferriday Police Department officer, but Interim Police Chief Derrick Freeman said Hudnall had quit the department prior to his arrest.
