VIDALIA — Services for Christopher Lynn Farmer, 27, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, in Deerpark, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Cornerstone Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Danny Reed officiating.
Burial will follow in Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Mr. Farmer was born April 6, 1987, in Shreveport, the son of Orville “Junior” Farmer and Teresa Theriot.
He was a resident of Ferriday, a member of Cornerstone Church and worked for D&D Drilling.
Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arvise McKee; and two nephews, Noah Farmer and David Farmer II.
Survivors include his mother and husband, Edward, of Vidalia; his father and wife, Kristi, of Vidalia; the love of his life, his fiancé, Mary Heathcoate of Ferriday; soon to be loving daughter, Destiny Faith Farmer; paternal grandfather, Orville Farmer Sr.; paternal grandmother, Helen Whiteman of Vidalia; three brothers, James Rodney Farmer and wife, Michelle, of Oklahoma, David Farmer and Daniel Farmer, both of Vidalia; two sisters, Sclina Farmer and companion, Bobby Roach, of Ferriday, and Leslie Farmer and companion James Lee, of Clayton; and a number of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Farmer, Andrew Clem III, Danielle Hutchins, Donnie Lively Jr., James Farmer and James McInnis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Theriot, Alvin Theriot, David Hayes and Muri McNeece.
