COVINGTON — Memorial services for Corinne Hays Talbert, 63, of Madisonville, who died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, in Covington, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in Covington.

Services will be under the direction of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral Home.

Ms. Talbert was born June 28, 1950, the daughter of Peter Bruin Hays and Martha Davis Hays.

She loved and lived for her two sons and her three precious grandsons. She loved just spending time with them, whether it was watching Sean play baseball and Patrick running around the park or just getting to hold her newest grandson, Hays, was pure joy to her.

She loved cooking for everyone, especially her family.

She even taught cooking classes at the River Walk, where she would tell nonstop stories about her children and grandchildren to all the tourist that took her class.

She was beautiful person inside and out and will be missed by many.

Ms. Talbert was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Martha Frances Hays Smith and Elizabeth “Betty” Bruin Hays Jr.

Survivors include two sons, Bryan Talbert and wife, Tonie, and Mason Talbert and wife, Michelle; two brothers, Magruder Hays and wife, Madeline, and Peter Bruin Hays Jr. and wife, Jerry; two nephews, Joe Scott and Michael Smith; and a number of great nephews and nieces.
