WILDSVILLE — Private graveside services for Lucille W. Smith, 83, of Wildsville, who died Monday, June 2, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at Evangeline Baptist Church Cemetery.
Burial will be under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Smith was born Feb. 21, 1931, the daughter of Charles S. and Eunice B. Breithaupt Wilkinson.
She was a private person who loved the Lord with all her of her heart and was a faithful servant to the end. She was committed in service to others through the church, community and outside ministries.
The love for this graceful beautiful person will be missed by all that knew and was taught by her for many years to come.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, James Alfred Smith Jr.; and her parents.
Survivors include her children, James Anderson Smith of Pittsburg, Pa., Lloyd Douglas Smith and wife, Katherine, of Natchez; Julia Ann Smith Eller and husband, John, of Mechanicsville, Md., and Roger Allen Smith and wife, Jan, of Gilbert; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Walter Wilkinson and wife, Mercille, of Waveland, Lloyd Wilkinson and wife, Evelyn, of Dallas, and T. Otto and wife, Mary Francis, of Decatur, Ala.; and a number of nephews, nieces and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Life Action Ministries or Gideons International.
