Mr. and Mrs. Lee Edward Scott of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Ta’Keea Ken’iel Scott of Clinton to Levandia Monroe Jones of Clinton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Levandia Jones of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and is attending Virginia College, studying medical office management.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Woods Sr. of Natchez, the late Mrs. Vivian Williams of Vicksburg and the late Mr. John Monroe Scott of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

He is employed by Ingram Barge Company.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Fitzgerald and the late Mr. Monroe Dave Fitzgerald and Mr. and Mrs. James Jones all of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Natchez Grand Hotel.

A reception will follow.
