MEADVILLE — Services for Marquise Jarrell Cain, 16, of Meadville, who died Monday, May 19, 2014, in Bunkley, will be at noon Saturday at Franklin County School Auditorium with the Rev. Phillip Sterling officiating.

Burial will follow in Hunt Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home in Bude and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the school.05:23 Marquise Cain obitpic

Mr. Cain was born May 21, 1997, in Brookhaven, the son of Derico and Sylivia Marie Gant Cain.

He attended Franklin County High School and was in the Beta Club and on the football team. He was No. 7 on the schools team.

Mr. Cain was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Irma Pearl Hankin Gant and Mary Henderson; grandfather, Wilbert Cain; and two uncles, Wilbert Cain II and Cory Gant.

Survivors include his parents; grandfather, George Gant Sr.; three brothers, Derico Cain Jr., Reginald Cain and Kaleb Gant Webster; four uncles, Derrick Gant and wife, Lorretta, Eric Gant, George Gant Sr. and wife, Shelia and Vernell Cain; 11 aunts, Theresa Bee, Constance Gant, Oralee J. Gant, Deidre Thompson and husband, John, Susan Gant, Berdie Gant, Tamara O’Quinn and husband, Eddie, Mary Townsend and husband, Larry, Darlene King and husband, Larry, Doretha Cain and companion, Larry Funchess, and Annie Pearl Robinson and husband Larry; special brothers, James O’Quinn, Tavis Ford, Tony Wells, Victor Smith, Kendrick Ford, Cole Middleton, Ivan Hughes, Antonio Christmas, James Thomas, Myson Coleman, Austin Wallace and Noah Lynch; and a number of other relatives and friends.
