NATCHEZ — Services for Wesley Snell Jr., 63, of Natchez, who died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Beulah Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery in Kingston under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Snell was born June 4, 1947, in Moss Point, the son of Wesley Snell Sr. and Darskey Louisville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Norah Louisville; and two sisters, Jacqueline Johnson and Annie Ruth Cain.

Survivors include a special friend, Karen Fort; one son, Stephan Frye of Anchorage, Alaska; three daughters, Darskey McMorris and husband, Gregory, Sanqnetta Givens and husband, John, and Kenyada T. Snell, all of Natchez; three brothers, Levan Snell and wife, Kwennie, of Buffalo, N.Y., Johnny Carradine and the Rev. Charles Carradine, both of Fayette; three sisters, Warrene Killian and husband, Gregory, of Buffalo, Barbara Trask and husband, Leroy, of Natchez and Georgia Fells and husband, William, of Fayette; four granddaughters, Kayla McMorris, Tia McMorris, Saniyah Givens, all of Natchez, and Kelani Frye of Seattle, Wash.; five grandsons, John Givens, Jerry Thomas, LeDarrius Dunmore, Elijah Brown and Gregory McMorris, all of Natchez; on godchild, Jasmine Jones of Dallas, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
