VIdalia — Because of a restraining order issued by a Baton Rouge judge, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association did not release its bracket for the 3A baseball tournament Tuesday.
Parents of seven Livonia High School baseball players filed a lawsuit that suspended the release of brackets in 3A baseball for 24 hours, therefore the Vidalia baseball team, who Vidalia head coach Kale Davis said sat around No. 31 in the polls, will not find out its fate until later this morning.
“It’s tough because we were left out last year,” Davis said. “We’re just hoping for the best.”
Livonia was forced to forfeit 18 baseball games due to an ineligible freshman’s participation.
