FERRIDAY — Services for Jeanette Marie Hayles, 70, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. David McGuffee and the Rev. Paul Southerland officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hayles was born Feb. 16, 1940, in Bastrop, La., the daughter of Helen Hill and Jake Bowers.
She was employed by Berry’s Seafood as a hostess.
Mrs. Hayles was an active member of Highland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Ray Hayles Jr. and her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Bobby R. Hayles Sr.; one son, Paul M. Hayles and wife, Meredith, of Roxie, La., one daughter, Angel Lindsey and husband, Terry, of Vidalia; four grandsons, Braxton Hayles, Dalton Hayles and Triston Hayles, all of Roxie, and Mac Lindsey of Vidalia; one granddaughter, Rachel Marie Lindsey of Vidalia; one brother, Jimmy Peek and wife, Linda; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be James Johnson, Donald Johnson, Roger Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Barry Peek, Brian Peek and Glen Thomas.
