NATCHEZ — The second suspect who allegedly held up a man at gunpoint last month was charged Saturday
Khadijah I. Mosby, 21, 24 New St., was charged with armed robbery for reportedly robbing a man March 21.
Anthony Thompson, 31, 12 Fifth St., was charged with armed robbery shortly after the robbery for allegedly orchestrating the assault and robbery of the victim. He has since been released from Natchez City Jail.
The victim told police he caught a ride with Thompson as he was leaving a local casino to get more money, Natchez Police Detective Jerry Ford said. After the victim retrieved more money from his residence, rather than taking the victim back to the casino, Thompson allegedly took him to a different location, where Mosby was reportedly waiting with a gun, Ford said.
Mosby reportedly struck the victim on the head with the gun and took the money from his pocket, Ford said.
The amount of money was nearly $200, Ford said.
Mosby was being held without bond Monday afternoon in the Natchez City Jail.
