MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Services for Marilyn Valentine France, 72, of Memphis, Tenn., who died Nov. 27, 2010, will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. France was born Oct. 29, 1938, in Natchez.

She was a graduate of Mississippi State College for Women, a sustaining member of LeBonheur Club, a member of Independent Presbyterian Church and Bible study fellowship.

She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William France.

Survivors include one sister, Alma Pitchford Timmons; one son, William France and his wife Becky Morgan France; one daughter, Helen France Wade and her husband Bobby; and three grandchildren, William France and Caroline and Bobby Wade, all of Memphis.

The family requests any memorials be sent to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital.
