FERRIDAY — Services for Tressie Loueen Wilson, 75, of Wisner, La., who died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Howington officiating.
Burial will follow at Monclova Cemetery in Tensas Parish under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilson was born June 22, 1935, the daughter of Robert Bentley Sutterfield and Dovie Asaline Sutterfield. She was employed by Mary Anna Nursing Home in Wisner for 18 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Delane Wilson Sr.; her parents; two daughters, Tommie Jean Wagley and Carolyn Faye Wilkinson; and one great-grandson, Elijah Cowan Hardy.
Survivors include three sons, Franklin Delane Wilson Jr. and Paul Wilson Sr. and wife, Donna, all of Vidalia, and Dennis Wilson Sr. and wife, Terri, of Jonesville; one daughter, Dorothy Louise Wilson of Ferriday; four brothers, Jimmy Sutterfield, Charles Bently Sutterfield, Sonny Sutterfield and Floyd Sutterfield; four sisters, Faye Sandifer, Ola Jean Guinn, Louise Merritt and Joy Shaw; special friend, J.B. Berry of Wisner; 26 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
