FERRIDAY — Services for Ronald Howell Poole, 63, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Comer Funeral Home with the Rev. Denny Braswell officiating.
Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Jena under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Poole was born Oct. 22, 1950, the son of Johnnie David Sr. and Doris Francis Langston Poole.
He was enlisted in the U.S. Army and fought in the Vietnam War, receiving the purple heart and the bronze star. He will surely be missed by all that knew him.
Mr. Poole was preceded in death by his father; and one daughter, Holly Elaine Poole.
Survivors include his mother; one daughter, Shannon Rose Poole Dever and husband, Johnathan Paul; one granddaughter, Lily Roslyn Dever; one brother, Johnnie D. Poole Jr.; and one uncle, Thomas G. Poole Sr. and wife, Doris.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Poole Sr., Steven Edwards, Colin Edwards, Mitch Baxter, Ken Crews and Skippy Tumminello.
