NATCHEZ — Services of Richard P. Norman Sr., 60, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at noon Saturday at Greater St. Mark Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Norman was born Feb. 23, 1950, in Adams County, the son of Charlie and Ida Proby Norman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Luebertha Blake and Annie Mae Norman; and one brother, Willie Frye.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ware and husband, Kenny, of Natchez and Sumner of Lincoln, Neb.; three sons, Richard Norman Jr. of Natchez, Robert James Norman and wife, Vickie, of Vicksburg and Walter Norman and wife, Cassandra, of Houston; three sisters, Della Thomas and husband, Luther, Adeline Stewart and Mattie Thomas and husband, Windell, all of Natchez; six brothers, Chris Minor of Crosby, Albert Norman, Clarence Norman, James Norman and wife, Hattie, Kenny Wayne Beamer and wife, Darlene, all of Natchez, and Cleveland Norman of Biloxi; one uncle, Sam Proby of Chicago; one godson, Cedric Wayne Minor of Leesville, La.; 13 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
