NATCHEZ — Services for Clara Lee “Doll” Harris Randall, 92, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Jefferson County Nursing Home in Fayette, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Flower Baptist Church with the Rev. John Scott Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 5:45 p.m. today with a “Celebration of Life” Wake Service at 6 p.m. today, both at the funeral home, and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Randall was born March 4, 1922, in Adams County, the daughter of Horace and Ruth Foster Harris.

In 1939, she married Sam L. Randall Sr. and to this union, four children were born.

When she was an active member of Zion Flower Baptist Church, she served as Sunday school teacher, senior choir president, church secretary and deaconess.

She was employed by the Natchez-Adams School District for more than 31 years as a bus driver and part-time cafeteria worker. Her hobbies included fishing, gardening, word puzzles, playing Scrabble and watching baseball.

Mrs. Randall was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Sam Lloyd Randall Jr.; one daughter, Eliza R. Quinn; two brothers, Horace Harris Jr. and Leon Harris Sr.; one sister, Elizabeth Todd: and one son-in-law, Rogers Adams III.

Survivors include one son, Jimmie Lee Randall and wife, Connie, of Smyrna, Ga.; one daughter, A. Augustine Adams of Natchez; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; one sister, Pearl Harris of Natchez; one son-in-law, Rev. John L. Quinn; and a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
