FERRIDAY — Services for Esther Mae Champlin Smith, 81, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in Alexandria, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Sharp officiating.
Burial will follow in Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith was born Nov. 11, 1932, the daughter of Douglas Champlin and Ethel Moore Champlin.
She was a retired a waitress.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, George Smith; her parents; one daughter, Barbara Beauvias; and four brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy D. Tiser of Vidalia and Wilfred R. Tiser and wife, Diane, of Venice; one daughter, Donna Kunkle and husband, David, of Natchez; one brother; four sisters; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons.
