NATCHEZ – Services for Minnie Pearl Knight “Poo-Poo” Jackson, 44, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at noon Saturday at New Hope The Vision Center.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

A wake service will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Jackson was born Nov. 16, 1965, in Merigold, the daughter of Sarah Knight and Richard Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Jermaine Jackson; one sister, Martha J. Jones; grandparents, Lawrence and Rosetta Knight and Thornton and Lucy Jackson.

Survivors include a loving and devoted husband, Connie Jackson; one devoted son, Kendré Jackson; her mother, Sarah Jackson; three sisters, Mary Ann Morgan, Pansa Blanton and Lenora McMorris; six brothers, Charles Knight, Percy Knight, Richard Knight, Lawrence Jackson, Randy Jackson and Leory Jackson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
