NATCHEZ — Services for Dorothy Mae Irving Prater, 86, of Natchez, who died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at New Zion No. 1 Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Prater was born March 18, 1928, the daughter of David Irving and Aniece Malone.

She was a member of New Zion No.1 Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Johnny Irving; two grandsons, Derrick Irving and Cordell Irving; three great-granddaughters; two great-great grandchildren; and a number of relatives and friends.
