ALEXANDER CITY — Memorial services for Fredrick William Mange, 73, of Alexander City, Ala., formerly of Natchez, who died Friday, March 28, 2014, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Ala., will be at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Radney Funeral Home.

Mr. Mange was born March 19, 1941, in Santa Barbara, Calif., the son of Fredrick William Mange and Margaret Fair Mange.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he will be dearly missed.

He was a 1959 graduate of Lompoc High School and a graduae of California Polytechnic University.

He is a member of St. James Episcopal Church.

Mr. Mange enjoyed visiting with friends and family and spending time on the golf course with his friends.

He was an active member of the Natchez community serving as a board member of Trinity Episcopal Day School, on the Vestry of Trinity Episcopal Church, president of the Natchez Jaycees and Governor of the Mississippi Jaycess.

Mr. Mange was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Mange; his mother; one son, Robert William Mange and wife, Stacye, of Monroe; one daughter, Lanette Mange Fargason and husband, Craig, of Auburn, Ala.; five grandchildren, Addie and Sally Fargason, both of Auburn, Jacob and Olivia Armand, of Monroe and Timothy Mange of Starkville; one brother, Robert Mange and wife, Cheri, of Folsom, Calif.; sister-in-law, Meg Moody and husband, Jack, of Chapel Hill, NC.; one nephew; and one niece.
