VIDALIA — Memorial services for Sharon Collinsworth Boyter, 63, who died Aug. 27, 2010, at her residence in Sheridan, Wyo., will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Vidalia United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Varnado officiating.
Mrs. Boyter was born Feb. 28, 1947, in Ruston, La., the daughter of Lonnie and Ruth Collinsworth.
Sharon was a former member of Vidalia United Methodist Church and a graduate of Vidalia High School. After graduating in 1965, she attended Louisiana Tech in Ruston. She married Larry Boyter in 1970, in Natchez and they had two children, Amanda and Nicholas.
Sharon loved her family, her friends and her two cocker spaniels. She was also a lover of the mountains and the outdoors and enjoyed traveling with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Survivors include her husband; her mother of Vidalia; one sister, Judi Collinsworth Jones of Vidalia; one daughter, Amanda Hudson of Natchez; one son, Nicholas Boyter and wife, Joanie, of San Angelo, Texas; and four grandchildren, William Sayre, Emily Boyter, Issac Boyter and Igor Boyter.
A reception will immediately follow the service in the church dining hall.
