Deloris Marie Davis of Natchez announces the engagement of her daughter, Catina Lasha Johnson to Quinell Davis Sr., son of Jim Lewis Chatman Sr. and the late Elnora “Byrd” Davis of Natchez. The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Roosevelt Johnson.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School, a graduate of Alcorn School of Nursing in Natchez and is a graduate of Louisiana Technical College in Ferriday.

She is employed by Oxford Healthcare in Jackson.

She is the granddaughter of Mary Louise Green and the late Pearlie James Williams of Natchez and the late Ben and Estella Mae Johnson of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is employed by Dawson Geophysical Company in Midland, Texas.

He is the grandson of the late Albert and Elnora Smith Davis of Natchez and the late Isaac Chatman Sr. and Winnie Chatman of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Forest Aid Baptist Church.

A reception will follow at the Natchez Community Center.
