WOODVILLE – Services for Bobby Ray Turner, 47, of Woodville, who died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at his residence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Bell officiating.
Burial will follow at Cedar Rest Cemetery No. 2 in Woodville under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Woodville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Turner was born Dec. 19, 1962, in Natchez, the son of Isiah Turner and Ruth Odessa Bolden.
He was a self-employed carpenter and was a member of Chapel Baptist Church.
Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Clarette Turner; and one brother, Carl Bolden.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Turner, of Woodville; two sons, Bobby Turner and Jeremy Turner, both of Woodville; two daughters, Tia Brown and Tiffany Jarvis, both of Woodville; one godchild, Destinee Adams of Woodville; two brothers, Joe L. Bolden and wife, Romayne, of Chicago and Cadelious McFarland, all of Woodville; two sisters, Pauline Sims and husband, Terry and Regina Thompson and husband, Willie, all of Woodville; one uncle, Charles Bolden of Woodville; three aunts, Alma Jones and husband, Artis and Edna Stirgus, all of Woodville and Olivia Smith of Chicago; one sister-in-law, Dannie Bolden of Woodville; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Thompson, Bernard McFarland, Alvin Stirgus, James Stirgus Jr., Wasner Jenkins Jr., Jason Jarvis, Kenny Bennett, James Brown and Jimmie Jarvis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Turner, Jeremy Turner, Joe Louis Bolden, Cadelious McFarland, Terry Sims, Willie Thompson, Ronnie Jarvis, Khan Jarvis, Charles Jarvis and Hillary Jarvis.
