NATCHEZ — Services for William “Honkey Bo” Davis Jr., 69, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Alexander officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Natchez, the son of William Davis Sr. and Alberta Stepney Davis. He attended St. Francis Catholic School. He was employed as an Adams County crossing guard, road crew supervisor and inmate road crew detail.
He was a member of Marblestone Baptist Church and a member of God Father-God Brother Club and Watkins Street cleanup crew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Phelum Edward Davis.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Perry Johnson and Debbie Smith; two sons, Kenneth Perry and Cornelius Patterson; and four sisters, Olivia Banks, Annie Lee Johnson and Julia Davis, all of Natchez, and Canary D. Hardin of Memphis, Tenn.
Pallbearers will be Albert James Brown, Johnny Lee Marsaw, Pero Davis, Greg Dugan, Clarence Davis, Ronnie White and Larone Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kendrick and Broderick Perry.
