FERRIDAY — Services for Labrendan Rinard White, 29, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile crash, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles G. Chandler officiating.

Burial will follow at Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. White was born Aug. 23, 1981, in Houston, Texas, the son of Kelvin Hymes and Brenda White.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Josephine White and Grady Briggs.

Survivors include his mother of Vidalia; his father of New Orleans; stepfather, Don Melancon of Houston; one son, McKinley White of Sicily Island; four daughters, Kiviona Bell of Monroe, La., Bran-Neisha Jefferson of Lake Charles, La., Kaylyn White of Ferriday and Nylah Thompson of Clayton; one brother, Kazerick White; one sister, Tiesha White, both of Vidalia; one godsister, Keara White; special aunt, Sherry White, both of Ferriday; special cousin, Samuel Mayse of Lake Charles; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
