Vidalia — A Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office employee was arrested Friday afternoon on charges of malfeasance in office and introduction of contraband.

Ruben L. Wilson, 32, 318 Louisiana Ave., Waterproof, worked as a correctional officer at one of the sheriff’s office’s two prison facilities on Louisiana 15.

CPSO spokesman Vernon Stevens said deputies were completing their investigation of the incident and further arrests were pending.

Wilson was arrested and booked on charges of malfeasance in office and introduction of contraband into a penal institution.

No bond had been set for Wilson as of Friday evening.
