FAYETTE — Services for Mary S. Jackson, 86, of Fayette, who died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jesse Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Curtis Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Jackson was born June 27, 1924, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Guy Sampson and Etta Graham Sampson. She attended Jefferson County public schools. She was a homemaker and a member of Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roosevelt Jackson.
Survivors include one daughter, Willie Mae Bailey; one granddaughter, Courtna Jackson; one great-grandson, Adrion Clark, all of Fayette; two sisters, Pearl Moore Johnson of Jackson and Lillie D. Wells of Chicago; one brother, Guy Sampson of St. Louis, Mo.; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
