NATCHEZ — Services for Helen L. Bath, 91, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at Adams County Nursing Home, will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Bath was born Sept. 22, 1919, in Whistler, Ala., the daughter of Earl Clifton Lawshe Sr. and Helen Rosalie Kercher Lawshe. She was a member of the Alter Society at St. Mary Basilica. She enjoyed square dancing, line dancing, hunting, fishing, crabbing and sewing. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D.W. Bath and one daughter, Ellen Arnold.
Survivors include three daughters, Annie Marie Boyette and husband, Jim, of Lake Charles, La., Helen Porter and husband, Danny, of Decaturville, Tenn., and Carol Rogers and husband, Ernie, of Tylertown; two sons, Dr. Dan Bath and wife, Pat, of Atlanta and Carl Bath and wife, Brenda, of Natchez; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Boyette, David Boyette, Ben Boyette, Billy Young, Mike Porter, Greg Beck, E.W. Lawshe and Greg Young.
