LORMAN — Services for Anna Marie Foster Smith, 79, of Lorman, who died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Esphesus Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Britt officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home in Fayette.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. today at the church.
Mrs. Smith was born Nov. 21, 1930, in Natchez, the daughter of Kittye Brown and Verlie Cilde Foster. She was a high school graduate and a homemaker.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Esphesus Primitive Baptist Church for a number of years. She loved gardening, decorating her home, crossword puzzles and her big cat “Trigger” and Magnolia Ramblers Camping Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Virlie Jim Foster and Lynn Foster.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Gerald D. Smith; one son, Gerald D. Smith Jr. and Jeanette Killingworth, both Lorman; one daughter, Pamela Bolerjack and husband, David, of Berryville, Ark.; three grandsons, Derck and Leah Sheridan of Athens, Ga., and Timothy Bolerjack of Berryville; two sisters, Kathleen Harriston and Jennifer Polk, both of Natchez; a special family friend, Martha Coleman; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Howard Goza, John H. Smith, Phillip Williams, Preston Foster, Benito Foster and Timothy Bolerjack.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Magnolia Ramblers.
