FERRIDAY — Services for Thomas Leo Wiggins Jr., 77, of Benton, formerly of Clayton, who died Thursday, March 13, 2014, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Mausoleum under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Wiggins was born Oct. 10, 1936, the son of Thomas Lewis and Lois J. “Jackie” Frost Wiggins.
He was a native of Clayton and went to school in Sicily Island and after retirement spent most of his time on the lake fishing and hunting.
He was always a hard worker and loved his family spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He will surely be missed by all that knew him.
Mr. Wiggins was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother Billy Wiggins.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Wiggins; one son, Mickey Wiggins and wife, Karen, of Bossier City; one daughter, Lynda Cates, of Natchitoches; one grandson, Jeffery Wiggins; three granddaughters, Lisa Wiggins Dilts, Stacey Cates and Sarah Cates; three great-grandchildren; the brothers, Frankie Dean Wiggins and wife, Rhoda, of Shreveport, Paul Wiggins and wife, Lynn, of Oak Ridge, Alvin Wiggins and wife, Suzanne, of Clayton; and a number of nephews, nieces and friends.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence LaBarrere II, Lawrence LaBarrere III, Milton Canazares, Kippy Blaney, Ronnie Blaney, Dan Wiggins and Wesley Dilts.
