Lady Bulldogs deserve our full support

Tonight at 6:30, everyone in the Miss-Lou needs to turn into a Bulldog, a Lady Bulldog to be more precise.
Regardless of the team for which you may normally root, tonight all the Miss-Lou should be supporting the Natchez High Lady Bulldogs as they travel to Jackson to play for the title of state champions.
The team has already made tremendous accomplishments this year. They’ve managed to best more than two-dozen teams, only losing two games all season.
That’s an amazing feat, but at the moment at least, it’s not enough for the driven group of young women.
The team, led by a clearly charismatic coach — Alphaka Moore — has its sights set on the championship.
We wish the girls the absolute best tonight, but as the whistle blows to start the game, they should realize, Natchez and the surrounding area is already amazingly proud of them and know that they’ll represent the area well tonight.
If they return as state champs, we’ll cheer and celebrate a little more loudly, but we’re already thrilled they’ve done their best so far this year and have never given up.
Those two traits are the most any of us can hope to accomplish. Good luck, and go Lady Bulldogs!
