NATCHEZ — Services for Winnie Ann Chatman Blanton, 59, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Aid Baptist Church with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Blanton was born April 30, 1954, in Natchez, the daughter of Issac Chatman and Celia Davis.

She graduated from South Natchez High School class of 1972.

She was a care giver and volunteer for the Stewpot.

Ms. Blanton was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Hugo Davis and Carrie Davis; one aunt, Ellen Davis; and two cousins, Gladys Davis and Aaron Green.

Survivors include two sons, Mack Blanton Jr. and Charles Blanton; one daughter, Christina Blanton; one granddaughter, Da Miyah Blanton; five brothers, Richard Davis and wife, Keiko, Issac Chatman III, Melvin Chatman and wife Joanne, Eric Dixon Sr. and Floyd Dixon; two sisters, Ethel Chatman Powell and Sandra Dixon; best friends, Valerie Brady, Valerie Shropshire, Johnnie B. Davis, Dorothy Nelson and Mary Blanton.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
