NATCHEZ — Services for Tyler Paul “Big T” “Rocket” “Texas” Brumfield, 20, of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 9, 2014, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at McNeely Road Church of God with the Rev. Brian Monehan and Kevin Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Mr. Brumfield was born Dec. 26, 1993, in Natchez, the son of Boo Brumfield and Vicki Hodge.
He was a member of the McNeely Road Church of God.
He loved his pet dog, Riley.
Mr. Brumfield was preceded in death by his grandparents, Truman and Nellie Hodge and Mike Wactor; and cousin, Kyle Hutchins.
Survivors include his father and wife, Kristina; his mother and husband, Tim; two brothers, Luke Brumfield and companion, Mika, and Mikey Brumfield; one sister, Geri Brumfield; grandparents, Joe Brumfield and wife, Mary, Luther Messer and wife, Opal and Patricia Wactor, all of Natchez; five uncles, Joe Brumfield and wife, Robyn, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Spanky Brumfield and wife, Stephanie, of Vidalia, Gary Messer and wife, Barbara, Keith Messer and wife, Vera, all of Natchez, and Christopher Wactor, of Pensacola, Fla; five aunts, Skeeter Hutchins and husband, Chris, Missy Spear and husband, Ken, Dell Ratcliff and husband, Ray, Linda Hampton and husband, Kenneth and Ann Poole and husband, Harold, all of Natchez; his girlfriend of three years, Nikki Worthey; and a number of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jake Brumfield, Christopher Perry, Tanner Martin, Ben Moffett, Kevin Campbell, Johnny Smith, Jon Mark Taylor, Holden Braswell, Nathan Latimer, Ethan Loyd, Chris Carrell and Tyler Freeman.
Honorary pallbearers will be anyone who played ball with Tyler and Matthew Marks, Slick Frank, Josh Calcote and Brian Sanderson.
