NATCHEZ — Services for Ophelia Morgan Patterson, 87, of Natchez, who died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Milford Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Alsworth officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Patterson was born April 30, 1926, in Natchez, the daughter of Andrew Morgan and Rosie Johnson Jones.

She was a homemaker and a member of Milford Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cubie Patterson; three sons, Robert Lee Morgan, Clarence Morgan and Joseph Morgan; and one grandson, Noland Bridgewater.

Survivors include two sons, Andrew “Buddy” Morgan and wife, Jessie, and Johnny Morgan and wife, Gwen; one daughter, Rosie Watson; 21 grandchildren, Kenneth, Vicky, Anthony, Roger, Mary, Samuel, Charlotte, Robert, Vanessa, Darius, Dorothy, Emaun, Justin, Kelvin, Diamond, Pearl, Brandi, Deatrice, Daphane, Wesley, and Courtney; and a number of great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
