NATCHEZ — Services for Ruby Mae “Ms. Noonie” Green, 86, of Natchez, who died Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. today at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. James Fallon SSJ.
Burial will follow in National Cemetery at a later date under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. today with the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Mass at 11 a.m.
Mrs. Green was born Aug. 18, 1927, in Natchez, the daughter of Clifton Levi Pickett and Emma Hunt Pickett.
She was a housewife and a former home health aide.
She was a Catholic and member of Holy Family Church.
Mrs. Green is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include five sons, George Green and wife, Janice, Stanley Green and Joseph Green, all of Natchez, Elbert Green and wife, Cynthia, and Larry Green and wife, Mary, all of Ft. Worth, Texas; three daughters, Velma Smith, of Ft. Worth, Charlene Green and companion, Robert Johnson, of Greenville, and Dorothy Terrell, of Natchez; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elsie Pickett Evans, of Natchez, Ernestine Pickett, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Joyceria Schoby and husband, Barney; of Terry; and a number of nephews, nieces neighborhood children and friends.
