Services for Martha Calcote Owens, 95, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be 12:30 p.m. Friday at St. Peter Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Gibson officiating.

Burial will follow at Watkin Street Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral System.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Owens was born July 4, 1911, in Leesdale, the daughter of Ellen Wesly Calcote and Effie Jones Calcote. She was devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Owens; daughter, Alma Calcote Bradshaw; grandson, Harvey Bradshaw Jr.; sisters, Lucilli Calcote Shaw and Essie Calcote Dunmore; brothers, William Calcote, David Calcote, Otis Calcote and John Calcote.

Survivors include her children, Harvey Calcote Owens, Diane Calcote Owens Donaldson, John Henry Calcote Owens, Rose Mary Johnson Cameron and husband, Ace, and Doreatha Mayberry and husband, Dave; grandchildren, Tony Johnson and wife, Terri, of Houston, Texas, Timothy Johnson and wife, LaDonna, of Oak Ridge, Texas, Romona Jones of New Orleans, Sharron Donaldson, Demetris Donaldson and wife, Sabrina, of Houston; great-grandchildren, Tanasha Johnson, Tony Johnson Jr., Timothy Johnson Jr., and Tariq Jones; sister, Geradine Calcote Goodall of Chicago, Ill.; brother, James Wesly King; sister-in-law, Lubie Calcote; and niece, Mary Buckley.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
