Services for Mr. Scott Russ, 43 of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Steve Pearson officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. Russ was born Oct. 6, 1963, in Natchez, son of James M. “Sonny” and Linda S. Pace Russ. He was an active member of Community Chapel Church of God, working with the youth for many years. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father and son.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, T.J. and Thelma Ellis, James and Clara Russ and S.S. Pace.

Survivors include wife, Terry Russ of Natchez; two daughters, Kacy Russ of Natchez and Krissy Lipscomb and husband Jamie of Vidalia; mother Sue Russ of Natchez; brothers, Jimmy Russ of Maine, Bobby A. Russ and wife Tina of Brookhaven; Jeff Russ and wife Shannon of Natchez and Joby Russ of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Lipscomb, Justin McManus, Greg Smith, Lloyd Trisler, Tracey Whitehead and Bo Swilley.

Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Community Chapel Church of God, Mr. Joel Smith, Dr. Jack Rodriguez and Howard O’Gwin.
