Troy Proby

Services for Mr. Troy Proby, 50, of Natchez, who died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at his residence, will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church, in Sibley, with the Rev. Walter Sago officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Fuenral Home.
Visitation will be noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Proby was born June 27, 1956, in Adams County, the son of Carrie Longs Proby and the late Robert Lee Proby.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda White Proby; four children, Tony Proby, Troy Proby, Briana Proby and Denise Proby; mother, Carrie Proby; brother, Chris Proby and wife, Angela; a nephew and his mother, Chris Proby Jr. and Gwen Proby; mother-in-law, Josephine Curtis; two sisters-in-law, Pearline Hill and husband, Frank and Julia Boxley; three brothers-in-law, Cortez White and wife, JoAnn, Johnny White and wife, Brenda and James Tenner and wife, Rosie; two grandchildren, Chricetta Proby and Ne’Shay Foley all of Natchez; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ron Dunmore, James Coleman, Troy King, Cortez White, Johnny White Sr. and Johnny White Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are Lee Andrew McCullin, George Minor, Isaac Minor and Theodore Minor.
