Services for Mary Louise Kendall Robinson, 79, of Natchez and Bridgehampton, N.Y., who died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Zabron A. David officiating.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Tuesday until service time at the church.
Mrs. Robinson was born May 26, 1927, in Natchez, the daughter of William Joseph and Mary Louise Netterville Kendall. She attended The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. She graduated from Sophie Newcomb College and Tulane University in 1950. She also studied sculpting under Angela Gregory. Mrs. Robinson was an accomplished ballroom dancer and competed actively. She was a student with Arthur Murray Dance Studios in New Orleans, where she lived for many years and Southampton, N.Y. She was also an avid bridge player. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Colony Club of New York City.
She was preceded in death by her father; and her former husband, Jimmy T. Robinson Jr.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Louise Kendall Shields of Natchez; daughter, Lee Rigby Robinson of Bridgehampton, N.Y.; sister, Ann Haack and her husband, Frederick, both of New Orleans; nephews and nieces, J. Kendall Hobson and his wife, Kathleen, Ann Hastings Soniat, Margaret Dodge Hobson and her husband, Ivens Robinson, all of New Orleans, Mary Louise Hobson of Chevy Chase, Md. and Laura Larsen and her husband, Dan, both of Ipswich, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church of Natchez, Natchez Regional Medical Center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital of New York or The American Cancer Society.
