NATCHEZ — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an alleged rape of a juvenile that occurred Sunday.

The incident occurred on U.S. 61 South and involved a male juvenile who was later taken and treated in the emergency room at Natchez Regional Medical Center, an ACSO spokesperson said.

Law enforcement is not releasing specific details of the case because of the victim’s age and nature of the crime, the spokesperson said.

ACSO officials are searching for a black male suspect who was wearing a black hooded jacket, gray sweatpants and light blue tennis shoes.
