Services for Brenda Nichols Foster, 58, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, at her residence, will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Burial will follow at Milford Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of R.D. Mackel and Sons.
Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Foster was born April 30, 1948, in Newton County, the daughter of Jimmie Lee Nichols and Jettie B. Dukes. She was a graduate of Miladys School in Vicksburg. She was a cosmotologist. She was a member and a mother of Pilgrim Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Janice Dukes; brother-in-law, Andrew Foster; and sister-in-law, Emma Todd.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Edward Foster of Natchez; three daughters, Doleska Murrell of Union, Courtney Foster and Kedra Foster, both of Arlington, Texas; sisters, Patricia Davis and husband, Benjamin, of Shaw and Marilyn Hunter of Union; brothers, Jimmy Dukes of Shaw, Bobbie Dukes and wife, Mattie, of Union and Melvin Dukes and wife, LaQuita, of Bonham, Texas; three grandchildren, Kala Murrell, Akelia Murrell and Jasmine Murrell; aunts, Claudine Nichols of Harrisburg, Pa., Susie Latham and Thelma Lathem, both of Natchez; uncle, Woodrow Nichols and wife, Virgil, of Fort Washington, Md.; mother-in-law, Emma Foster of Natchez; four sisters-in-law, Irma Mcgee and husband, Roy, Carolyn Williams and husband, Bill of Shaw, Joan Sims and husband, Tim, of Bryant, Texas and Dorothy Foster of Natchez; brothers-in-law, Henry Foster of Natchez, Barney Foster of Jackson and Arthur Todd of Houston; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
