Services for Cenoba “Doll” Griffin Stanton, 90, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, at the Adams County Nursing Center, will be noon Saturday at Greater Saint Mark Baptist Church with the Rev. Maurice Irving officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Stanton was born July 14, 1916, in Adams County, the daughter of Rosie Reed and Ernest Griffin. She was a choir member at Greater Saint Mark Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerard Stanton; four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include a son, Robert Stanton of Natchez; daughter, Justine Stanton Barnes of Houston; adopted son, Kevin Stanton and wife, Joanie; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Edgar Griffin of Natchez; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Stanton, Eric Stanton, Kenneth Griffin, Thomas Griffin, Edgar Griffin Jr. and Stacy Stanton.
