Mass celebration for Mary Hadad Gleason, 82, of Baton Rouge, formerly of Vicksburg, who died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at her home, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, celebrated by the Rev. Ernest Saik.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory under the direction of Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, Baton Rouge.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at Pope Hall at the church.
Mrs. Gleason was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Cedars Club of Baton Rouge and UCT Ladies Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Gleason; her parents, Arthur F. and Mamie Hadad; a brother, Johnny Hadad; and a sister, Louise Anderton.
Survivors include a daughter, Janet Gleason Ballow and husband, Ed, of Denham Springs; sons, James William Gleason Sr. and wife, Shelly, and David Charles Gleason and wife, Laura, all of Baton Rouge, and Dr. John Richard Gleason and wife, Robin, of Atlanta; sister, Martha George of Luxora, Ark.; 11 grandchildren, David, Daniel, and Ellen Ballow, Keith, James, Jeffrey, Kenneth, Erin, Susannah, Justin and Lauren Gleason.
Pallbearers will be Daniel and David Ballow, James, Jeffrey, Keith and Kenneth Gleason, Don George and Buck Copeland.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Cedars Club of Baton Rouge and members of UCT.
