Services for Nina Maxine Baker, 63, of Wildsville, who died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, at University Medical Center, in Jackson, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Jonesville Junior High School with the Rev. David Bates Jr., of New Orleans, officiating.
Burial will follow at Old Mount Olive Cemetery in Jonesville under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Ferriday.
Mrs. Baker was born April 24, 1943, in Jonesville, the daughter of Henry Brown and Stella Harbor. She was a retired grocery store supervisor. She was a member of Evening Star Baptist Church in Ferriday.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Thess Baker Jr. of Wildsville; her mother, Stella Harbor of Jonesville; sons, Roderick Baker and wife, Diana, of Houston and Thess Baker III and wife, Pattrell, of Wildsville; daughters, Cheryln Hatten and husband, Vincent, of Harrisonburg and Miranda Baker of Wildsville; six grandchildren; brothers, Crownie Harbor and wife, Katie, of Jonesville, Perry Harbor of Monroe, La., Eddie Brown and wife, Diane, Henry Brown and wife, Esther, Robert Brown and wife, Barbara, Anthony Brown, Edgar Brown and wife, Nell, and Earry J. Brown; sisters, Emma Stevenson, Annie Brown and Freida Stewart and husband, Elmer, all of Arizona.
