FERRIDAY — Services for Myrtis K. Case, 53, of Monterey, who died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Heritage Manor Health and Rehab in Ferriday, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glen Harrigill officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Case was born Sept. 9, 1960, the daughter of Clyde and Mary Thornton Graves.
She loved her family. She was a loving wife and mother, who also loved to be outdoors, fishing and surrounding herself with her flowers and her puppy dogs, who were her heart.
She will surely be missed by all of her family especially her neices and nephews and all that knew her.
Mrs. Case is preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, Freddie Case Jr.; mother; one son, Daniel Case, of Vidalia; one daughter April Marie Toney and husband, Trey, of Vidalia; grandchildren, Ashley Marie Rice, Mark Rice and Sarah Toney; great-granddaughter, Aubree Minor; four sisters, Sharon Butler and husband, Michael, of Natchez, Teresa Whitehead and husband, Johnny, of Vidalia, Rita Taylor and husband, Marvin, of Patterson, and Dorothy “Dottie” Beavers and husband, Dale, of Harrison, Ark.; three brothers, Gerald Graves and wife, Martha, of Lafayette, Larry Graves and wife, Charnelle, of Corpus Christi, Texas and Billy Thomas and wife, Debbie, of Corpus Christi, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
