FERRIDAY — Services for Hunter Cole Hewitt, infant, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Vidalia First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill McCullin officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Hunter was born Oct. 24, 2013, in Natchez, the son of Hailey Hewitt and Austin Lord.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Cathy “MeMe” Freeman; paternal great-grandfather, Danny Phillips; and paternal great-grandmother, Joanne Lord.

Survivors include his parents; twin brother, Braden Hewitt; maternal grandparents, Kristi and Jesse Whitehead, of Vidalia, and Jason Hewitt, of Monterey; paternal grandparents, Aulisha and Tommy Hibley, of Ferriday, and Brandon Lord, of Monroe; maternal great grand-parents, Johnny and Theresa Whitehead, Deborah and LeRoy Cotten, all of Vidalia, Judy and Homer Hewitt, of Ferriday, Joe Houghton, of Vidalia, and Pam Phillips, of Ferriday; maternal great-great grandparents, Nub and Ernie Martin, of Ferriday, Mary Graves, of Monterey, and Rosalie Chandler, of Monroe; three aunts, Maddison Hewitt, Lexi Whitehead and Brandi Lord; two uncles, Allen Taylor and Kennieth Lord; and a number of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Austin Lord, Kennieth Lord, Allen Taylor and Jessie Whitehead.
