NATCHEZ— Services for Sophronia Mae Coleman, 78, of Natchez, who died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at her residence, will be at noon Friday at True Love Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Alvin Day officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Park under the direction of Bateaste Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Coleman was the daughter of James Williams and Charlie Mae Seaton Williams.
She was a homemaker and a cook and retired in 1994. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.
Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Coleman Sr.; two sisters, Florine Williams and Betty Jean Williams.
Survivors include four children, Willie “Fred” Williams and companion, Johnnie B, Ola Mae Coleman, Eddie Lee Coleman and wife, Jackie, all of Natchez, and John Wesley Coleman and wife, Sherrie, of Minneapolis; two sisters, Myrtis Lee Williams and Inell Washington, both of Natchez; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
