Services for Rosemary Wilkinson Crawford, 89, of Foules, who died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at St. Francis North Hospital Monroe, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ken Hoots officiating.
Burial will follow at New Pine Hill Cemetery, Sicily Island, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crawford was born June 4, 1917, in Parhams, La., the daughter of Roger Price Wilkinson and Bernice Lipsey Wilkinson. She was a graduate of Louisiana State University. She was a retired social worker. Mrs. Crawford was a member of Sicily Island First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Bruin-Vidale Chapter of the Daughter of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Crawford; her parents; and brother, Roger Price Wilkinson Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Jean DeGennaro and husband, Mike, of Monroe, La., and Rosemary Ramsey and husband, Henry, of Richmond, Va.; sons, Larry Crawford and wife, Marjorie, of Foules, La. and Stephen Crawford and wife, Joyce, of St. Joseph; sister, Sara Nell Hunt of Monroe; brother, Douglas Wilkinson of Jacksonville, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Doug Arnold, Joel Arnold, Alan Hebert, Clay Crawford, Jay Crawford, and Damon Sims.
Honorary pallbearers will be Zac Arnold and Sam Crawford.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
