Services for Shirley Ann Comegys, 63, of North Charleston, S.C., formerly of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 4, 2007, in North Charleston, will be 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, Natchez, with the Rev. Dan Wynn officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel.

Mrs. Comegys was born March 8, 1943, in Latta, S.C., the daughter of Arthur Kinston Flowers and Rebecca Mae Herring Flowers. She was a member of Natchez First Baptist Church. She was also a retired secretary for Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Victor Comegys.

Survivors include her daughters, Shelia West and husband, Todd, of Summerville, S. C., Suzanne Fitzpatrick and husband, Mark, of Somerville, Tenn. and Christine Hayles and husband, Jody, of Natchez; brothers, Gerald Flowers and Bill Flowers, both of Delaware; sisters, Dorothy Kerr and Helen Morse, both of Delaware, and Rebecca Lewis of Maryland; eight grandchildren, Colby Fitzpatrick, Taylor Fitzpatrick, Kirstin Hayles, Kory Hayles, Caroline Hayles, Trey Bruffey, Rebecca Bruffey and Matthew West.
