NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Robert Ray Tillery Jr., 91, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Walton Jones officiating.

Burial will follow in Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Tillery was born Aug. 8, 1922, in Gloster, the son of Robert Ray Tillery Sr. and Hoyette Randall Tillery.

He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Tillery retired from International Paper Company after 35 years of service. He was the owner of Tillery Air Condition and Electrical Service.

Mr. Tillery was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Frederick Ray Tillery; two brothers, Jerry Tillery and Glen Tillery.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Marie Schleet Tillery, one son, Edwin Randall Tillery, of Vidalia; one daughter, Ayleen Tillery Penton and husband, Larry, of Natchez, one granddaughter, Holly Elizabeth Tillery, of Natchez; and two great-grandchildren, Shelby and Raylee Seals of Natchez.
